Freaky Friday with the Town of Farragut
Time & Location
About the Event
Freaky Friday is a free event, but participants are asked to bring items to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. Suggested donations: laundry stain remover, dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, liquid and powdered bleach, dryer sheets, Lysol spray, garbage bags, Keurig coffee pods, white towels and washcloths, air fresheners, LED lightbulbs (75-100 watt), AA or AAA batteries, paper towels, to-go boxes, heavy-duty plastic cutlery, paper plates, insulated disposable coffee cups, phone cards, individually wrapped snacks (granola bars, crackers, nuts, etc), cooking spray, coffee creamer, sugar, 8.5x11 copy paper, 3/4" clear tape, postage stamps, gift cards (Walmart, Target, Food City, Kroger, Lowe's, Home Depot, ACE Hardware, gas stations, phone cards). Cash donations are always gratefully accepted - no gift is too small to make a big difference!
The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families with critically ill children who are being served by area hospitals. Since families receive services for free or at a nominal charge, the Ronald McDonald House relies on community donations. Collection stations will be located next to the playground and cookie decorating tent under the picnic pavilion off the main parking lot on Watt Road and next to the entrance from the Harrison Lane parking lot.
